1st para. should be introduction and then the following 2-3 para. should have examples (well explained) and the final para. should have a conclusion.
I want to ask whether the examples should only be from novels, or can be from somwhere also??

I am mother of a student who is a freshman in High School this.
I just gone through school site and read how important Essay writing in SAT score. Whether SAT or ACT writing a good essay shows what a student is in nutshell. So i thought of browsing in net – tips for writing good essay. I came through your site and entered my email and address.
It is awesome to know that general mistakes that student makes in SAT. But you gave only one and said that other four mistakes will follow in your coming mails.

I can honestly say that out of all the techniques I’ve read, yours is by far the simplest and easiest to apply. I have my SAT in January and even though that leaves about a month and a half to prepare, I’ve been freaking out for weeks. But after reading your techniques, which I have already used in my practice exams, I feel more confident than ever. Thank you so much, you really don’t know how much you’ve helped me.

Hi

I am an English student who is taking the SAT exam in May.

Could you please explain to me what the prompt is? I hvae the Official SAT Study Guide with 10 pratice papers. The first question is an essay, but i don’t understand how to answer it. Is this the SAT prompt? Do I have to relate my answer to a book?

I have read the prompt section and found it very useful. S if the esssay relates to this prompt then I understand it a little bit.

Thanks for the tips, they were super helpful. The essay part is where i have a harder time with because my teacher told me to be formative. Like you can’t use “you” or “I”. He said you have to be specific it can’t be general. Is that true.

Yes it is useful to be formal on the SAT Essay. However, it hasn’t been shown that which pronouns you use effects your score. Also, using specific examples is also effective. Use one expample paragraph as you see in the examples at this link: http://www.sat-essay.net/sample-sat-essays.html

Hi!
I just received my SAT scores today. Your tips were a blessing to me. By learning the tips that you sent to my email, my essay score was raised a whole six points! It is hard to narrow down the most helpful, because all of the tips were helpful.
Here are the tips that helped me most:
-Don’t respond to the quote. Respond to the prompt question, unless specifically asked to respond to the quote.
–Read the toppic first, then read the quote to help you think about the topic.
-Don’t put two ides into the same paragraph.
-Take a clear postition that answers the prompt either “yes” or “no.”
Again, they were all helpful and I thank God for your help.
