I recently took the SAT and I accidentally used the wrong book title in giving an example. Is it still possible to get a decent score if I used "Catcher in the Rye" instead of "Lord of the Flies," even though I described Lord of the Flies. I just switched the names accidentally.

It shouldn’t be too big of a problem. the graders are supposed to mark you for content and organization only. they might be a little thrown off because they expected to read about one book and instead is reading about something completely different, but again these graders have to mark hundreds of paper and they usually don’t give it much of a glance when they mark it, so if you’re lucky maybe your grader didn’t even register the name of the book you wrote in their heads!

According to the research and the College Board’s own admission incorrect facts do not lower your score. So you can relax about whether or you you got a book title wrong.
